Yeah this is the opposite of what I want.
I want something that’s more instantly engaging and creative than a VST and this seems like the opposite.
Create audio east beast and west pest look like cheap, fun little monos with arp and sequencer

There is a user on the forum selling their original Dreadbox Hades too… that thing looks pretty sick.

I got a good offer to get a Roland SE-02 so I’m going to see how I get on with that.

Even though it has a built in sequencer, I find it much more pleasant to use with an external sequencer like the SL MK3 or Keystep.
I’ve been jamming on it for past few days and find that the filter, feedback and delay knobs are surprisingly playable given their small size.

A really fun and deep monosynth is the Mutable Instruments shruthi. Not super knobby, but easy to programme. They’re cheap as well - either pre built or kit.
