recently copped a digitone and im loving it. i scoured the forum and manual but haven’t had any luck figuring this out. . .
is there any way when muting a track that the audio will be completely killed. like let’s say i mute a track just after a trig happened and the patch I’m running has a bit of tail that continues playing until my note length has been reached. is there a way that when i mute said track that the tail no longer exists? really looking for a hard cut with my mutes.
that’s what i figured I’d do but if I’m in a performance setting im not going to be muting the exact track at the exact same time every single time. if that were the case i would just program it. being able to hard cut when and where i want is a nice freedom
only the OT mutes audio iirc - the other devices Mute the sequence, so as you can appreciate, with long sound trails etc this is not operating on the sound level
maybe have a secondary controller on iphone via usb for track mutes - i.e. zap volume to zero - just a thought
Especially when the send effects are involved you cannot kill the sound of a single track on its own.
Even when you plock the volume of the track to zero a possible reverb tail will still sound on. So you would also need to plock the reverb wet amount to zero, but then the reverb gets “killed” also for the other tracks (same holds true for the delay, of course).
