Hi, I asked this before regarding connecting the ipad thru an iCA4+, which doesn’t work due to some dropout issue.
But now I was wondering if anyone tried this with the Mio XM ? I was thinking of getting one for my setup. Anyone tried using Harmonix, Collider or Fragments, connecting the ipad to the Mio XM and successfully getting connection with the DN, AR, A4?
Does your iPad not support iOS 12? I’ve held off as long as I could not raising the iOS requirements, but we’re already on iOS 16 and things are being deprecated.
Nothing against you, just fed up to be taken for a fool by these corps.
My iPad is jailboroken and was stable to make music with. At the time of iOS 11 without jailbreak there were crucial things you could not do. Updating it meant loosing the JB and possibly all my data as I was on Linux and could not save the data.
Buy this now but if you don’t buy that other thing later, you won’t be able to use the foremost… I’m just sick of their silly game. I guess it’s just another reminder to stick with hardware
Just read through the thread and I don’t think this question has been answered fully. You mentioned that you can connect your iPad directly to the Digitone, with the settings in the help menu. I feel like I’ve done all that, and pushing buttons on the Harmonix keyboard doesn’t do anything. Is there a video somewhere explaining the initial configuration that I didn’t see? Thanks.
No, but the Help menu tells you what settings need to be on the Digitone. Regardless of how you connect, you need to enable that Input / Output port under the MIDI menu in Harmonix
Any chance to get a random option for the multimap mode, like picking up patches from a range say the first 5 from soundpool all distribute in a single track? Would be cool with drum patches…
Not sure where the Multimap is saved…If it’s part of the Kit or Global Settings I could try to figure out how it’s saved in the sysex and work with it…if it’s part of the Project then no luck. I’ll add it to the list!
