Wonder if anyone here has a way of getting around this issue?
I’m finding that some of my USB audio devices, but also one of my RME Multiface units aren’t properly recognised by my cylinder style Mac Pro.
I think this might be due to USB providing power (or at least enabling power) for some of those devices in some cases, so it’s not possible to turn them on before turning on the Mac.
In the case of my Multifaces, they’re in a Sonnet Thunderbolt chassis which only gives power to the cards when the mac is turned on.
Any thoughts? Ta!
