i am trying to send midi from a zone of my digitone Keys keyboard to my daw using the multimap functionality and its editor.
I can sure define a zone, send a midi note and monitor it on my computer.
But the output channel is 1 whatever midi channel i define on the editor.
Anyone has an idea what the problem might be?
The behaviour is the same with the Midi ext functionality. same output channel whatever i select as an output.
There must be some midi parameters conflicting somehere bah…
Perhaps it’s an error in the settings or perhaps it’s a bug.
Would you be willing to post your Multi Map menu settings (START, SPAN, RANGES), and your Range Edit menu settings (RANGE LOW, RANGE HIGH, CHANNEL etc)?
I am very sorry i just found out where my problem stands, and it does not come from the Digitone…
my midi monitor is a max4live device, it indicates you the incoming channel, great.
but ableton looses the channel number once it reaches and passes the input filter of a track!!! channel number seems to be defaulted to 1. huh.
just tested in an other way and multimap channel assignement works perfectly!
