Help needed: save pattern each time?

Hi, here’s my second question of the day (discovering-mode “on”): I found that the Digitone remembers every edit I did on each pattern without needing to save. Of course I understand that if I unload a project without saving it, all will be lost. But how about patterns? Do I need to “save to project” each pattern first and the save the project? This is a bit unclear to me.

Yes you can edit and switch between patterns in the same project without saving anything and then save the project when you want
