I started experimenting with waveforms on my DT. At the moment I have the old NIntendo waveforms (Adventure Kid) imported.
The highest the DT can get is to C7 (+24). With these waveforms that’s not even close enough to get to a lead tone. Is there a way I can even get higher notes?
I’ve not got a DT, but couldn’t you just resample a C7 +24 semitones then use that as your staring tone at C5 then you’ve got an extra 3 octaves?
You could either resample or edit the waveform manually in something like audacity to shorten it. Editing it will be more precise, as it can be hard to line things up just right with DT looping.
