My wife and I are going thinking of going to Denmark in May.
Does anybody know of affordable holiday homes in Denmark?
(or a good website for that kind of stuff)
Preferably a little more remote rather than in the city, but open to any suggestions!

I think Airbnb and booking .com is probably the most popular services to rent holiday homes in Denmark.
Some of my personal favorite countryside/nature destinations are:
Møn, Mols Bjerge, Thy, Skagen, Syd Fyn (Ærø, Faaborg area), Bornholm, Ordrup Fårevejle, Tisvildeleje.
In case it helps, the native term for a rural holiday hut is ‘sommerhus’.
There used to be websites/agencies that people booked them through novasol.dk and dansommer.dk but I guess Airbnb has become a way to minimize the middle man.
I would also recommend the sejrø-bugten area
