How fx track works?

Hi again.
About the fx track the manual just say that to edit the fx you must select fx track. My question is why the fx have a track if you can’t use the sequencer with the fx? For example select fx on certain steps etc.
If this is possible the manual don’t say nothing.

you can … parameter lock settings

fx track is handy as a second CV source track if not doing that

also now handy as a free Midi track if doing neither of these
