How to get around Digitone 8 Banks vs Octatrack 16 banks?

I would love to use these 2 live but my method of working where the Digitone follows the Octatrack’s pattern sequence obviously only works for banks 1 - 8, for banks 9 - 16 I am scuppered. Aside from stopping the music mid-set to load a new project, is there any way around this, when using the pattern follow mode?

I’ve got 2 ways of using this, they both feel a little like a compromise compared to having access to 16 banks on all machines though.

In my studio template; I use banks A-H for normal pattern design, then switch to banks I-P to use a duplicate pattern for sound design/alternate parts to capture sounds without wrecking my main pattern. DT/AR keep playing pattern A1 while OT plays I1 etc.
These working patterns can eventually get replaced with stems/final recordings, while still having access to the original pattern.

In live template; using banks A-H for patterns using thru machines/external gear, and banks I-P with duplicate patterns but all static stems instead of Thru machines for solo OT sets.

Neither of these solve your problem sorry
