How to MIDI Keyboard to Dtakt to DTone?

Im trying to have a good connection between MIDI-keyboard+DTakt+Dtone

GOAL
Create MIDI LFO as pseudo sidechain comp setup with a MIDI keyboard in the mix.

ROUTING:
MIDI: Keyboard to midi in on Digitakt midi out to Digitones
AUDIO: Digitone to Digitakt

PROBLEM:
How do I send different MIDI signals from Digitakt to Digitone. Some to be notes that are played and some that is a trigger to create pseudo sidechain comp without a note being played?
In the video here Dave has turned off “Receive notes” on Digitones but then I can’t use my MIDI-keybaord to play on the Digitone.

Is there a solution to this problem?

Use lock trigs (yellow) and make sure you lock LFO.T to on on those lock trigs (TRIG page).

If anyone is as confused as I, ill spare you the head ache and inform you that even if the channel LFO.T is turned on, when creating lock triggers (yellow ones) they are automatically per trigger set to LFO.T off and so you’ll have to select them and turn it on manually.
