How to send midi to the OB Plugin?

Hi,
I am trying to play my Digitone using an external keyboard using Ableton + Overbridge.

I can put down an “external instrument” and send the midi to the Digitone from Ableton no problem.

But what I wanted to do was send the midi to the track that has plugin though as it saves on tracks.

It doesn’t seem possible to send MIDI to the plugin and have it play :frowning:

Anyone know how to do this or am I just going to need a Plugin track + a seperate midi track for actually playing it?

Yep this is the case — xtra MiDi-Tracks for every tiny idea you have in mind ! Sadly the process of writing a feature request is pretty annoying for Ableton, but please make one. The more the better as usual.
