one of my favorite IDM projects ever, a concept album of personifying a computer being used to produce really fast IDM
while that might sound cheesy and meta, it’s absolutely beautiful and is one of the most emotionally-charged electronic pieces i’ve ever encountered.
Holy shit I’ve been trying to remember this album for years.

People should search out the monotonik archives. Many many nice releases in the early internet days … artists like cim, lacklustre , Tim Koch … nice electro , idm , chip tunes , ambient etc.
Google / soulseek are your friends.
And worm interface compilations.
