Recording the internal sounds as it plays and then playing them back at different rates with different settings leads to very nice and glitchy results.
Also, live sampling external synths is quite fun as well !
And you can always save RAM to ROM.

Yeah, you can use ramp lfo on volume for a long attack. It works well.
There‘s no way I wouldn‘t elope.
I felt in love with the sounds from “pads on Machinedrum” thread. Just incredibly warm and and atmospheric sound. So I would sample hell a lot of those warm low-res FM pads and single tones.
And not only that - sample all the FM/noise/gnd machines.
(Damn, I remember I even played Machinedrum in a shop in 2014 and was not very impressed then)
