They’re mini computers.
I’m sure it’d be hard to avoid overheating using so much processing power, without implementing a fan if they had a slim form factor.
Edit: the trimmed down features of the Model allow a thinner form factor.

Looks great. As mentioned above, I too am surpised at the overlap with DT.
Not for me this one:
But would love a Model:Drum or DigiDrum
See the manual, there is a diagram.
also from the Thomann vid, with a connector cover on, presumably :
Make a model:sequencer next, please!!
that un ill buy
Ok, fair enough then!
and Model: FM
And the speculation begins.
Please no more Models already. One is enough.
I want a DigiDrum.
Do you have a link to the internal images please?
Sample inputs always make ALL the difference for me when a machine has sample playvack capabilities. Without it i wont be buying it at 400 quid no way
New big box! New big box! New big box! Please?
You know what? This could be nice inexpensive machine with sample locks for offloading drums from the Octatrack.
Agreed, my Roland TM-2 will be for sale on Reverb soon!
Power through the usb? Any normal mobile battery pack would work
If this had an audio input (just for mixing external sound sources with), like the Korg Electribes, Roland Boutiques, or Yamaha Refaces, this would have been perfect to pair with the new Korg Volca Drum.
i prefer they stick everything in digi form
Dataline doing his thing with it.
Not for me, this thing, but I think it looks cool and feature rich, and it’s probably a great machine at that price!
I’d be very surprised if this didn’t share a lot of core code with the Digitakt and was primarily different in the UI
No sample locks, according to the manual.
There’s no way I’ll buy this until the battery pack is actually available. Has anyone spotted any info on price/dimensions of these?
