It seems like Elektron is a fan of the Access Virus line anywayz new machine looks really interesting, I think it pairs well with a Digitakt, my Digitone might has to go
I wish I were square, but Iām more like a thin fragile line.
Even with a MD and a MnM at home iām lurking on this one.
The only thing iām a bit disappointed is to have only one cymbal machine for the 8 digital tracks and 12 cymbal machines a single analog track. Seems a bit unbalanced on this point but the rest is
drives me nuts that after all these years the OT is still the only one that can do retrig with MIDI, but pretty stoked about the scales! will save me having to use a quantizer if I use this with eurorack via my FH-2.
So are any of the machines brand new, or are they all from Rytm and Cycles? Seems very un-Elektron to cannablise old products

Read some philosophy to attain depth.
Viola! The line becomes a square!
As someone who missed out on the Machinedrum era, Iām very excited to try this thing out.
Huge bummer on the white LED screen though. The yellow looked SO good.
Everything I am reading/seeing/hearing leads me to believe I would easily have at least a thousand bux worth of fun with this thing.
Iām even enjoying the Baseck video!
Cycles is not in the same price category.
Rytmā¦still has sampling/playback. But definitely edging on itās territoryā¦
ā¦as mentionedā¦slices, bits and piecesā¦lend ur ears to some examplesā¦some slices of itā¦
by no means an exclusive term to little audiosnippets in some sort of sample/audiofileā¦
and for my partā¦i couldānt be happier, that syntakt has nothing to deal with any sample mangling/managingā¦too much to twiddle and sounddesign already in thereā¦
and goshā¦the list of sound machines feels already endlessā¦while this is only the start of itā¦
first two updates for ironing bugsā¦but from the third on, THIS collection will start to growā¦
Good woe to behold
Iām asking about the machines. Are they new?
Holding fast on this one for now. If I got it, itād really have to replace my Rytm Mk1 (and Cycles, I guess), but then I wouldnāt have the pad performance modeā¦ and the additional models are either hard to fathom (wathing a few videos might help) or donāt really appeal. I like the idea of the AFX filter as a separate āunitā.
Iād have been much more interested had it included some MD/MM machines, which I guess is possible in an update. As it stands itās a hard sell for me, but I can see it being an amazing option for a first Elektron. I also expect a few Youtube sessions will start whittling away my resolveā¦
shame thereās no chorus but man this thing is so stacked i feel like an idiot for griping about almost anything.
Well you have a full synth voice on it now. So dual LFOs that can control the Chord macro, base width filter on top of the main filter, with a filter envelope, and a full amp envelope with different shapes available.
Lots of depth. Modulating the waveform, chord inversions, and filter all at the same time gives it fuller synth capabilities.
Aside from those machines, the newly created synth machines are excellent.
Do we have a ship date?
In the promo they said there are some new ones. Also sounds like some of the M:C machines have expanded controls.
