Thomann has it listed now:
This looks great! I’d be all over it if I didn’t have a machinedrum. I cant justify having both, and MD isnt going anywhere rn
Are you sure it will grow?
…as said…some tweaked old friends from rytm…same some from cycles…and quite some new ones…each for it’s own…12 voices altogether at any given moment…but some of the digital ones can do fake polyphony spread tricks like cycles chord machine…
I just sold my DT yesterday and my DN 10 minutes ago (sold at full asking price too even after ST anouncement) and have an ARMKII on order. The ST covers a lot of ground but I really want kits, scenes, performance macros etc. I thought about cancelling the AR order for all of 30 seconds. It really is the right fit for my needs. <3
Looks like a super powerful machine. I’ll make the inevitable moan: Would have loved to have at least four outputs. An optional individual out add-on box would probably sell well. I guess Elektron could do this with the USB out and Overbridge tech, but, at least for the analogue voice would mean another stage of A>D D>A conversion.
All the same, I reckon this will be my second Elektron box (first being OT bought some 7 years ago). Looks like its a “greatest hits” of the synthesis technologies they’ve developed over the years and not compromised to preserve sales of previous products. May Elektron prosper.
…absolutely…what better argument and more fun way to keep this thing uptodate for years and years to come…
they would be stupid to miss out on this…and they’re anything but stupid…
Ah cool. I went straight to the manual and got confused by all the similar names for machines.
i am confused!
there will be
syntone in the future?
SMALL BOX TRINITY?
I assume it’s possible to p-lock the machine type ?
Possibly use an lfo on it ?
Not much different to using a sound lock per step …
Overall it seems like a nice box. ESP sequencing fx parameters.
music in the perfect circuit vid sounds like f##king terrible trap though. I hope none of the demo tracks are that bad
Some nice pixel art on the ui … that square - blob one looks nicely animated ( I did pixel art in games 30+ yrs ago )
See! Now I have to like that!
Yeah, if you scroll to the bottom of the Elektron page, in the specs section, it gives a general overview of the machines that is much quicker to digest as far as what is digital and analog.
DT DN ST = Dark Trinity Reborn
Ok… I now have lots of gear to sell!
I’d be very interested in a Syntone. I bet we see one in a couple years.
I thought the video said some new machines as well on top of the old favorites.
same here
Without any doubts great capabilities, can’t wait to try it. But why not in the bigger format (the digi is a bit too small for me in live sets, I prefer the 16 steps in one line rather than two. Personal tastes I know) with more outputs etc… This would have been even better (at least that’s my opinion)
