does anyone know of a more elegant solution than using anytune pro to download youtube audio and then feeding it via audiobus to a recording app ? looking for wiretap or audio hijack for the ipad i guess.

I don’t know that I would refer to copying from Youtube as elegant no matter how it’s done.
I was looking into this a few months back, but I couldn’t find any apps. I think there might be a couple that allow you to record YouTube audio, but I dismissed them because they were too limited (I usually access my content via Plex).
@ accent…thanks, yeah i can’t find anything either apart from the method i described. works fine but i 'd prefer to not have to download the whole clip to sample one part of it…
it’s a great idea for a feature or even an entire ‘App’.
