How would I do the following:
Me playing Midi controller into ipad, ipad sending midi to digitone, digitone audio back to ipad to be sampled, into wav files, all via usb?
New ipad pro, fyi.
I have a feeling 100s of people on the forum have figured this out already, but I searched and couldn’t find a recipe…

Audiobus or AUM. Probably AUM as it also records.
It’s pretty straightforward. If you need more specific help, ask over at the Audiobus forum.
If only 1 usb, then you’ll want a Bluetooth keyboard. If not, then a usb hub will be the ticket. Definitely go for AUM. Very easy to setup the audio and midi paths plus can create any recording/sampling environment you want.
On the Digitone, you’ll have to choose relevant USB audio settings.
