This is driving me insane. I’ve got sounds I’ve created that I’d like to save but after digging through the manual and the menus I cannot find any way to actually save a sound, only rename it.
Please tell me I’m overlooking something…

If you want to export (save) a particular Sound with all its current parameter settings, use the SOUND MANAGER.
For more information, please see “14.2.2 SOUND MANAGER” on page 59.#
I used the “save” keyword in the PDF.
It worked!
For some reason I was associating “export” with dumping the sounds out of the machine.
Thanks @Sternenlicht!
Hi moderators. My question WAS NOT about saving patches internally. But rather exporting patches to my computer.
The thread title is marked for saving and exporting - there’s no benefit in two small threads for such closely related topics. Future searchers will find all they may need here.
Sounds can be sent to and received from a computer or other device by SysEx dump. Details are given in pages 63-64 of the manual.
Thanks for that will try when home.
Anyone got a good suggestion for a site to share patches on?
