Is it possible to send Sysex-Data over AK to MD?

Hey there Folks!
First time poster, long time lurker and a true Elektron Fanboy :diddly:

I’m a proud owner of the Analog Keys, the MachineDrum and the Octatrack which form the center of my …“process” so to speak :slight_smile:

Since I dont have a USB-MIDI Hub or converter or anything like that, I was wondering if there is a chance to send Sysex files over the AK (midi-thru?) to the MachineDrum (or the DX7 for example)

I hope this question wasn’t answered before.
Any help is greatly appreciated :slight_smile:

MIDI data sent from a computer to the USB-MIDI port of the AK is not passed on from its 5-pin-DIN MIDI Thru port.

You will need some form of USB-MIDI interface, like Elektron’s TM-1.
