Is there any way to nudge timing of all notes on track at once?

I’m using the CV track to trigger a software synth which has latency so it’s slightly out of time with the A4 tracks. I can fix this by nudging individual notes back (holding down a couple at a time) but this is awkward to do every time a note is recorded/changed.

Is there any way to nudge or alter the timing of the whole track or any other workaround? I thought it might work to set ‘silent’ trigs and nudge their timing in advance but every time I record quantised it resets the note timing back to on-grid.

Elektron has never provided for this. You can hold several trigs down and nudge those. Think of it as an opportunity to experiment.

I can think of a workaround for this but it would probably be too much hassle/ have some downsides

You can shift a whole track at once by a single step, it’s too bad you can’t hold track>arrow with func or something, but I’d imagine this is a rare use case

Yes, with swing trigs. Place swing trigs on all steps. Turn Level button to change swing shift.

Oops, I thought it was OT forum. Maybe it works for A4 too ?

That’s what I was thinking, yes swing trigs on a4, swing is global though so it would only work if not using swing already, and you would have to deactivate swing trigs on other tracks- otherwise everything would shift

Ah thanks, that sounds perfect! I’ll give it a go.

@1-2 I’m not using swing anywhere else so this should hopefully be straightforward.
