yeah I’d love to see how that’s programmed.
Having spent a year with the Digitone, the Analog Four has the sounds I felt I was missing.
Running it through the Analog Heat takes it another step further and seems to bind the 4 tracks together.
Worth the wait, worth the money, looking forward to learning it’s little tricks
Heat turns the DN and A4 into bliss. I don’t know what it is but it just absolutely takes them to the next level.
Another one with only 1-Voice of the A4 :
I will have 4 days off starting tomorrow. I will post my Sounds in sysex during that break.
Im finally getting one! Swapping an Opsix and cash for a black mk2.
You didn’t gel with it or you need space?
Ive given up the idea of buying A4!
some yt videos examples are interesting (as are the examples given here) but still nothing extraordinary to me that’s worth the money and the hassle of learning a new tool …
it’d probably be a dream machine if i was more into edm and techno, probably second to none; i do understand why ppl love it so much
Perhaps the tide has turned again, and the A4’s latest moment in the sun is almost over…
It sounds good. But never felt like using it. It is still alot of menudiving. They should have put in dedicated buttons for each operator instead of left and right buttons.
And when i want typical digital sounds i just use my M in stead.
No that belongs to the Octatrack in my humble view. Rytm also very deep instrument. Still love my A4 and have done entire show with it by itself.
Dedicated buttons for each operator? In what way?
It’s just an small annoyance. But if you want to go from op 1 to 6 to edit the envelope, you need to push several times.
Oh on the OpSix. I thought you were talking about the Analog Four. I was like - what operators?!
So back to the Analog Four - it’s just so playable! It’s patches are so dynamic. I’m so glad I got the Digitone first or I’m not sure I would have kept it!
I’m totally keeping it tho, just to be clear.
I would love a mk3 A4 with the compact mk1 size and form factor, and MK2 screen / design. It would make a perfect companion to my DT/DN.
Drool
one of the reason I opened this thread
and Im still wondering…
" Isn’t the Analog Four the most incredible and deep instrument from Elektron so far? "
And this Nardo Grey…
Imo the real magic was in the silver line
…still is
