Hey all, I’ve been searching all morning for an answer here and I haven’t found anyone with the exact same problem I’m currently having.
Basically, I’m running my Digitone into Logic X via Overbridge and using the plugin. From what I can tell, I should be able to record Midi straight in shouldn’t I? I can record the actual audio from the Keys in Logic, but for some reason when I open up a software instrument, it won’t record actual midi notes.
I see the Keys as a Midi device in the Logic menu. I can punch in midi in Logic and have it play back on the keys, they’re receiving the clock and program changes as well. By all accounts, it seems to me it’s linked up in the system, the only thing I can’t get it to do is record the actual notes as midi.
I feel like I’m missing something super random in the keys but I’ve gone through the menus multiple times and still no luck. Anyone have any ideas where the disconnect here is?
