Layering?

I’ve read the manual and done a Google search but I can’t seem to find the answer. Is it possible to layer the 4 tracks on the A4 like you can with the multitrig on the monomachine? I want to create dynamic voice.

As in unison mode? Haven’t played with that yet but I do believe it does what you’re looking for.

something like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RFwXn-Q0_68

Not quite. I want to make 4 different sounds on each track and play them all at the same time. So maybe my percussive attack is t1, the low end is t2, the sustain is t3, and another sound on T4. Then play all 4 tracks as if it were one super dense sound.

I think you’ll essentially have to duplicate the sequence data from one track, onto the others.

This is possible - Use Unison in Poly Mode and enable ‘Use Trk Sounds’.

Oh snap crackle pop. I’m not in front of my machine, but let me just make sure I get it.

Go into Poly mode, click tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, then switch to UNISON and USE TRK SOUNDS.

Then I can sequence on track 1 and hear all the sounds as one big layer? I’m assuming I’d have to plock using FUNCTION+TRIG on each individual track if I wanted specific settings per step?

Thanks!

Yep! P-locking might get weird though.

Awesome. I’ll try it all out. Thanks!

Sooooo… this is super awesome. 4 voice layered monophonic synth? I tried it when I got home and it’s friggin’ ridiculous.
