Very clever using a faded square LFO that way. Still so much more complex than just having a plockable portamento parameter though!

yeah … thanks for making this video.
to me it serves both as a testament to the power of the sequencer’s flexibility in combination with user ingenuity, and as a cry for help for portamento. because it’s almost like a reductio ad absurdum of the response that we can hack this basic feature in with such painstaking LFO p-locking. i would dispute your claim that it’s “dog simple” 
but much appreciated regardless

Great stuff! Even the func + knob turn snapping has already made my day (assuming you can do the same on the Digitakt)
Yep function snapping is common to most boxes starting from the octatrack. Different knobs react in different ways tho so experiment before going whole hog in a deep design session.
