to me it serves both as a testament to the power of the sequencer’s flexibility in combination with user ingenuity, and as a cry for help for portamento. because it’s almost like a reductio ad absurdum of the response that we can hack this basic feature in with such painstaking LFO p-locking. i would dispute your claim that it’s “dog simple” but much appreciated regardless

Yep function snapping is common to most boxes starting from the octatrack. Different knobs react in different ways tho so experiment before going whole hog in a deep design session.
