Level changes per pattern

I have 2 patterns.

Track 1 has the same Sound on each pattern

Track 2 changes Sound on the 2nd pattern to one that is quieter.

Whether I change the levels on the Mix page or the Amp page, I cannot get it to remember a higher level on the 2nd pattern. Whatever I change it to, changes both.

How do I have different levels on different patterns?

Maybe save two different kits?

Yes, give each pattern its own kit. Make your level changes on pattern 2 and save to a different kit slot.
