Live recording with overbridge

Hi I’m trying to use overbridge with A4 and AR. My goal is to do the sound design and melodies from the computer and then disconnect the computer and perform the project standalone.

So in Bitwig Studio I have I’ve setup four tracks for the A4 and twelve for the AR so everything is properly routed to its corresponding device and channel.

The music plays fine but my issue is that liverec does not work. I checked both devices and liverec is enabled properly. Also I tried the auto channel (9 on the A4) but it did not record.

What is the most efficient way to compose from Bitwig and then transfer the midi parts to the elektron boxes?

I found that if I send the midi events to overbridge then they won’t be recorded.
But if I send them directly to the device using the HW Instrument, then they are recorded.

So I believe this is an overbridge bug right?

I also found that if I sequence a CH clip from bitwig to overbridge then the mute the CH on AR it is ignored and the CH is still playing…

Mutes on AR/A4 are only for the sequencer events
