Seems to work on M:S, but strangely doesn’t work on M:C
I’m trying to load up a kit / folder from the OverCycles pack with the following presets inside:
Arp9-5
BD9-1
Lolli-9-6
Pad9-4
SD9-2
Tam9-3
The result is that the presets are loaded in alphabetic order (so e.g. Pad 1 is ‘Arp9-5’ preset instead of ‘BD9-1’), ignoring the numeric suffixes.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix it? Am I missing something?
I don’t even want a fix, just want to know how to predict where the 6 presets will load. My technique at the moment is to prefix every preset file with the number. Which seems to tie in with your findings.
@eangman any chance of an update to the docs to tell us correctly how to do this ?
Allright, investigation shows that it is a bug in the code. It should actually work as stated in the manual. The bug is now documented and reported.
Thanks again for bringing it to our attention.
(Finally a problem that wasn’t my fault )
On that note I would also like to report that for whatever reason I cant make folders within folders on the transfer app. I downloaded the multi-cycles sound pack and for better organization I wanted to make subfolders for each type of sound(BD,SD,SY…) is there any way I can do this easily or is this a bug?
I didn’t have this issue - created subfolders for MultiCycles without an issue. However - I may have created the structure on my computer (Windows) and then just copy entire dir tree (instead of creating subfolders in Transfer directly)
