I’m a newbie and was looking for help on how to connect the m:c and deepmind 12 via midi. I was able to connect it but my deepmind 12 only acts as a controller for the model cycles. Wanted to know if there is any way I can hook it up to hear the sound from the deepmind 12 as well as the model cycles? Thank you very much
Since neither the Deepmind 12 or M:C has an input you will need a mixer/audio interface to combine the two audio streams.
MIDI will not affect what you hear, it’s only data that is transfered over MIDI no sound.

Okay, I see what you’re saying. Thank you so much for replying. So do you think I can get by using a focusrite solo or I would need an interface with multiple ins and outs?
You will need a mixer or interface with two stereo inputs so that’s 4 channels. If you want to maintain the stereo output of them anyways.
There are some affordable mixer options with built in USB interface not that more expensive than a Focusrite Solo.
For example Yamaha AG06.
