Machinedrum MIDI out to monomachine IN

so i’ve got my machinedrum plugged into my monomachine via midi, but i ONLY want to use it for tempo synchronisation. im starting out with a drum beat on my machinedrum and when i set trigs on track 2 (for my snare for example) it is playing the synth on track 1 on my monomachine. what midi routing do i have to cancel to not get it to do this?

it also does it when i turn data entry knobs on my machinedrum…it will alter the same parameter on the monomachine synth

set the MNM’s base channel to 5, if everything is set default the MD will use midi channel 1-4

Another thing you can do is: MM Midi out TO MD in. I always use like that, for my setup is more practical and I can use also the comfortable Midi sequencer of the MM and sometimes the great and wild Arpeggiator on MD.
