Machinedrum triggering Eurorack?

I am sure this has been discussed…but the search function doesn’t exactly work.

I have heard that the MD can trigger eurorack or other modular envelopes. Is this true? How do you do this?

I am considering getting an MD UW.

I believe you would use the Impulse GND-IM machine for this.

Impulse machine if you need specific control to get the trigger to work. Otherwise, I’d use a closed hat or rimshot on the E12 machine for retrig.

Yeah, the GND IMP is perfect, but the only thing that annoys me when using the MD as a clock source (or whatever) is that FUNC+KNOB can screw up the trigger sent to your modular.
