I’m used to the model Cycles and Samples where everything I do on a pattern stays that way and do not affect the other patterns.
I’m trying to find how to do this in the manual,but I can not find it.Do I have to parameter lock all my changes to a machine to make it stick to a specific pattern?
Please point me in the right direction in the manual…Thanks
You would have to associate a Kit to one pattern only
Each pattern can have one kit as there are 128 of each
However, there is still a degree of user responsibility to keep on top of this, browsing a few topics here on Kit architecture will help ground you in the fundamental differences and pros and cons of kits/otherwise … kits are more powerful, but with power comes responsibility etc
some people adopt the so called tabula rasa approach of loading a project where the kits are pre-linked on a 1:1 basis to the respective patterns A01-Kit1 A02-Kit2 etc - in order to link a kit a pattern must be non empty, there are ways to do this … then you have a template empty project to copy to your next project
