I’m organizing my samples and I’m trying to find a way to make a favorites folder. I can simply move my favorites to a folder that I create but in doing so, I have to remove it from it’s originating folder. Is there any way to simply mark things as favorites or have a duplicate copy?
AFAIK moving samples is not a problem for the Digitakt projects and songs since the project doesn’t store the path of the sample.
It’s like the DT creates a hash table of the samples in the +Drive and use that hash to find and associate the samples. This mean that you can move the sample around without breaking the project.
Another way to create a sort of favorite is to use the sounds: store the sample (with all the settings if you need) in the sound storage, you can find it quite quickly from other projects.
