Master volume?

hey there,

over OB the master volume is basically void, since master is controlled from Live.

on the one hand, it would be great to have master control over OB still by using the Master control… you know, it’s nice to fade in and out? just control the whole level…

but, then, can the Master Level knob be used as controller over midi for a tracks level in live?

as far as i understand the a4 doesn’t send midi?

anyway, just a thought…

well i played with it a bit and it appears the master volume is not midi assignable, i was able to assign the other knobs, in live.

so i guess you could assign a perf knob to the device volume in live. …

but, ah. i guess it would be nice if the volume knob did what it said it did?

anyway round it?

it does send midi. it just doesn’t sequence it. i think you’ll just have to use a performance knob.
