Thats why I use both. OT adds arp, cc lfo, songmode, a configurable send/return fx, and a proper sampling to the 707. If I had to keep only 2 boxes those are they.

Sadly doesnāt fix Decay/Release on user wave samples imported to a drum kit/Drum trackā¦
Very important feature if you want to use your own samples for drum kitsā¦
Pad chord mode is Okā¦nice classic pad sounds on this machineā¦

Really hope they release an arp update. Itād be so fun to use arpeggios on this, it was one of my favorite things on the MC-505.

Great update! Love the addition of the 101 sample editor, the new Envmode for drum tracks making it possible to sustain notes and the rest of the additions.
I am pleasantly suprised with the amount of frequent updates by Roland after having an opposite experience with the System-1 and 8 plug-outs. The MC-101 is quickly becoming one of my favorite and capable grooveboxes.

I havenāt updated my 707 yet, but I read it is now possible to send a program change to an external synth upon launching a clip. Thatās great!
Anyone tested this yet? And is it also possible to send banks/sub banks (lsb/msb)? Looks like they āforgotā this?

Did you load the cinematic samples on 3 looper tracks + the drums ?
That last fw update makes me regret letting go mine but as it was needed to fund a Deluge I dont regret it much for nowā¦
