You do have an extra assignable knob on each channel, but tune and decay are currently fixed. The 707 is more flexible, allowing you to reassign all the channel knobs, so maybe they’ll extend this to the 8S at some point. It’d be a useful improvement now that the FM machines have added more parameters to the pool.
