MD and Microbrute Sequencer HELP!

Hello from an old timer looking to use some new things.

I am used to cv triggers but new to midi. I was looking in the forum for using the MicroBrutes sequencer via midi
out from the MD but ran into some troubles.

The MD just makes the microbrute do one note, and if i press a different one it goes back to that note. I have changed the
global to – but still the same result. Also there is a Lag in the timing that doesnt make sense.

With my old gear (TR 707 and Pro One) I can just put the press the Rim Shot on the track where i want notes to play and its sequences fine. There must be a way to do this, no?

Any help would be appreciated!

hi there , i use the same set up also, a little drunk here but i think you need to set up the microbrute with the software and change the way it reacts, i dont have it set up here so i cant help much more if this is what your on about
