So I got a MDmk1 a few months ago and I’ve been having two issues with it.

it starts freezing up after a few minutes of play (only on occasion though, I’m not too sure when and why it does but it’s annoying) where all the triggers will light up in the top left and I hear this horrible high pitched beep. Generally this happens when I’m using it with my OT so it might be a MIDI thing? Although I’m also pretty sure it has happened on its own.

Certain sounds will distort every time they’re triggered. For instance when I’m using the TR closed hat for successive 16th notes, there’s a very harsh sounding white noise or distortion that takes over the sound of the machine. I’ve tried changing parameters as much as I can and lowering the volume but nothing seems to fix it unless I take a break from the MD and boot it back up after waiting for a while.
I got the machine used and I’m starting to think that it’s broken 
Or maybe I’m just doing something wrong?
