found a weird thing when using my dt via an external controller and midi thru box today. can’t seem to find anything with a search so far.
i am on midi channel 12 to control track 2 of my dn. i have changed the config of the dt project so that NO channels are set to midi 12. however, when hitting the c5 key, i trigger the highest chromatic pitch possible of track one on my dt. no other key value produces output from the dt. the only mention of something similar in the manual is on pp23:
MIDI note numbers 12–84, that corresponds to notes C1–C7 (C5, MIDI note 60, being middle C) will trigger the Sound of the active track in any of its 73 chromatic variations (as if played by the [TRIG] keys in CHROMATIC mode, see section below), from lowest to highest pitch.
i am able to change active tracks on the dt to other non-midi sources, but a c5 still only triggers track 1 in the same fashion.
has anyone else encountered/able to recreate this?
edit: i should also add that muting the track doesn’t suppress the sound!
