Midi CC request

Hi I’m looking to buy a BCF2000 to control both my Octatrack and Machine Drum.
I’m aware that I can send a midi CC 61 to the Octatrack and this will activate a midi CC request which will reset the motorised faders on the BCF2000 as long as I have this CC programmed onto the button which also switches between pages on the BCF.
Does anyone know if the Machine Drum has a Midi CC request?

I guess you could download / check the manual , there might be a bcr setup on their website or in file section on here.

Thanks I’ve read the manual. I don’t think the MD sends midi request for program settings. Looks like it only sends it via sysex. Maybe someone has attempted this before?

You are correct. The only way to get the current state of the MD is by sending SysEx data from the MD and unpacking the data.

A few applications and devices have done that, including Ruin & Wesen’s MiniCommand. Forum member @void has posted code at github.com/jpenca

Yeah thought as much, thanks for replying. I’m gonna go down the route of an analogue mixing desk I think for the MD and then maybe a BCF or an Octakontrol for the OT at a later date.
