Midi map play mode reverse with a button?

Im moving from model samples to digitakt. I was using novation launch controls to do dub mixing with the model samples and am now remapping the launch controls for digitakt, which is coming in the mail.

Been looking at the digitakt manual and midi implementation pages. On model samples i can midi map reverse with a button on my launch control. Im not quite seeing how to do this with digitakt. Do i midi map ‘play mode’? and send a certain cc level between 0-127? Not seeming quite as easy as model samples.

any advice for a digitakt newbie appreciated.

Yeah you should be able to do this by midi mapping the play mode. Not sure which one it will be with Elektron stuff at least when you midi map a parameter that just has a few settings normally each increment will change it so you’ll have to do some trial and error. You can also do this with an LFO (which you’ll have two to play around with now!)

i worked this out. For anyone else wanting to midi map this on CC17:

Rev Loop 1
FWD loop 2
Forward 3
