Hi,
I am trying to MIDI sequence my DSI Prophet Rev2 from my Digitone and the sequencer refuses to evoke a response.
They are both set up on the same channel, and the trig keys on the Digitone do create sounds on the Rev2 exactly as expected - but the sequencer itself will not.
I have even tried going into the note edit mode of the recorded trigs, and there it will work when changing notes, just nothing from the sequencer itself.
I am running OS 1.21
Anyone got any ideas?
Sounds like the track is muted.
I know, but it is not, I checked. Also tried to create a new project from scratch, reboot, etc. But I’m sure it’s something simple along those lines so hoping someone else has run into it.
I am using dedicated channels instead of omni/auto.

So I solved it. For anyone else that might have this problem and come across this thread in the year of 2028 or so, while googling:
You need to also go to the SYN1 page and set the channel there in addition to doing so within the menu. Seems like the menu only sets the actual trig keys per channel but not the sequencers channel.
Syn page setting are for midi output, setting in the menu are for midi input to the digitone. To control external devices you only need to set the channel on the syn page.
