Digitone “slaved” to OT. Notes on step 1 are often missed when starting to play. Seems ok when switching patterns (already playing).
It’s a known issue. Not only on DN (M:C too and maybe others). I’ve just searched the Bug fixes for every OS update but nothing came out for that specific issue (unless I missed it).
Alright. Bummer.
As a workaround, you can microtime the first note(s) by the smallest amount possible to the right. Seems to give the DN that tiny bit more time to recognise and play the first note(s).

Well, it needs “some” amount of microtiming. Well, too much.

Ah, maybe it worked fine for me because I tend to use slower tempos. You could send in a support ticket so Elektron can advise if a fix is likely to come soon or if there’s something else you can do in the meantime
