Having issues with midi where I wish to have the Cycles as master and Samples as Slave… When I run my 6 track piece on cycles and try to add new tracks from samples, all I get is an odd ticking sound from track 3 on the samples and unable to record any sound coming in from the samples. I thought I had set up the midi side of things to allow the two to talk but maybe I’ve missed something… Set things up according to info in the manual on pages 26, 41 re midi. Finding midi a bit of a head scratcher
Hmm, need a bit more info. What are your connections? Provide a pic if you can 
They should sync very easily, as long as you’ve set one to send clock and the other to receive it.
