Sounds are fat
Something a little more light, inspired by a gameboy game. Found if you double the delay on a pattern going between them can have some cool dubish effects.
Ahh that was really soothing…
Yeah, it’s kind of weird I generally avoid making kind of arpy video gameish music but it is sort of a guilty pleasure type thing, at times like this it is nice just to make something relaxing.
Aye that’s a good antidote for all the drama right now. I’ve been a bit more chilled today so was in the mood for that!
First post. I’m loving all y’alls contributions. Lots of excellent Model:Cycles videos on youtube being uploaded on the regular. Here are two recent uploads (not mine) that I watched today that I really enjoyed. Peace and blessings.
funnily I also thought about doing a some outrun covers once I got my hand on the cylces… never really able to force myself to do covers though. Seems ripe for sega arcade game music.
*seems like he just sent it some pre existing midi, which maybe makes it a bit less impressive, still neat to see.
Gotta love it when the fx cost more that the sound source!
Everything was M:C except a synth lead done on a Doepfer A110-4 VCO thru an L-1 filter and into a Mimeophon
I love this slow-pan video - my favorite of the thread so far. Keep it up!
Here is my last video, focused on the M:C. In a kind of repetitive electronic music
Really enjoyed that and great to hear so many contrasting synth parts. I’ve heard the m:c described as a drum machine that does other stuff but I think this video challenges that.
so, here is another one I just recorded via usb to phone. this time more of an ambient drone kind of thing… it uses the unison 4 in chord mode on all 6 tracks… beware, some nasty clipping in the louder part, sorry
Finally had some time.
not really music but some playing around that might help someone who is considering buying:
musical bits start around 5 mins in
Just got the Cycles this week and finally figured out my webcam enough to get some video out. his is gonna play well with my other stuff for sure! Still figuring out the video encode/volume levels, might be a little quiet.
A bit more evil than my usual
