It always seems to turn out that he discovers the best in whatever “the most hated gear in the world” he can find; which is of course a good thing.

I think the idea is not to make bad reviews about bad gear, but to show that the internet is not always right with negative comments.
I really like his approach, as he shows exactly those parts of gear, that might be the reason for some to buy it.

I’ve been watching his channel for a while and I get the impression that he particularly likes the Cycles. He seemed pleasantly surprised by it. I could be biased though, I love the thing.

Most underrated instrument in the Elektron catalogue if you ask me. 6 channels of that FM goodness for the price is just ridiculous.

Volca FM 2.0 can give you 6 channels.
But you are getting so much more with Cycles.
It only lacks polyphony support. An unfortunate limitation but typical Elektron
