Thanks a ton…OK this improved it but still need to hit them pretty hard in order to get a sound.
On digitakt it s effortless and even my novation circuit has a much better feel on the pads. I dot get it why they made them so Damn hard
You aren’t alone!
Ugh, that’s why I returned it the first time. So that didn’t really fix the issue? I was going to buy it a second time thinking that would fix it. But if I still have to hit it hard, then I’ll pass.
I would love to determine the default sounds of the tracks or even be able to create and recall kits.
Also I’d like to be able to change the speed of a sample.
Guys, I have a question that might already be a request: can you send the delay into the reverb ? Or are they strictly parallel?
You can’t. Somewhere in the manual there is a picture of the internal routing of the machine.
+1 Waveform Display
+1 Scrolling sample/folder name text or smaller text so you can actually see what you’re trying to load.
+1 Delete sample/files option
Anyway, great machine especially for live performances.
Model:Samples user manual “feature request”: Would be nice if chapter 14 listed all shortcuts available, not just some of them.
I would love to have a consistent MUTE mode. Right now I can access it by holding FUNC + SAVE, but if I decide to then save the pattern I can’t recall it anymore. I use MUTE mode a lot and it would be great to be able to rely more on it.
I’ve been using my M:S as a midi sequencer with my DAW but it looks like the sequencer doesn’t transmit the p-locked CC values. So basically I can use the M:S knobs to control my plugin parameters but if I p-lock those knobs then the p-locked values aren’t being transmitted. I was hoping to give a new lease of life to my plugins (and specifically to Bitwig and the Grid) but unfortunately it doesn’t work at the moment.
Transpose function would be amazing!
I would love to see (the option of) greater pad sensitivity if it’s possible with the hardware.

1000x this. I doubt it but would be nice!
I would LOVE a mute mode similar to what DT and DN have. The global mutes thing doesn’t bother me, I just wish there was a way to do one handed mutes as I’m sometimes needing to mute or
Unmute things across multiple machines.
There is a mute mode, but it is very buggy and doesn’t show up anymore if you save the pattern. I use it consistently but it is hard to rely on it if you never know if it will show up or not. Hold Func + Save for 1 second on a fresh pattern and it will appear! Really hope the devs take care of that in the next firmware update.
Can you please clarify the button combo? There isn’t a save button.
I mean the settings button, the one you use to do the temporary save.
Does it only work on a blank pattern? I couldn’t get it to work and I haven’t found it mentioned anywhere in the manual which makes me think it is actually a bug rather than a feature.
It is not on the manual. if I remember correctly Cuckoo briefly mentioned it in his tutorial, but that’s it. Honestly I found out about this by mistake and now it is one of the features of the machine that I like the most. It works ONLY if you don’t save the pattern. You can do temp save, but if you actually save it into the project it goes away. What I found out is that if you open a blank pattern, hold FUNC + SETTINGS for a sec to activate mute mode, you can then just change pattern and the mute mode will stay active in the next pattern. You can exit it by pressing FUNC. Really hope they catch up with this.
