Just got my Model:Samples. Tried it out on the weekend with headphones, and found the headphone output volume really low. Had it on full volume with factory samples. and still wasn’t really loud.
Wondering if this is normal, and if there is anything I can do to boost volume.
Haven’t tried the line outs yet, are they louder than headphones?
There’s a setting in audio config menu to control hp max

Hey PTSowns can you tell me where this is? My headphones (DT990 250 ohm) are pretty quiet as well using my Model:Samples. Hoping this is why.
Page 40-41 in the manual. HPmax. Default it’s set lower so you don’t accidentally blow your ears out.
I wish ALL my gear had that headphone limiting feature
Hi, I’ve had this same problem and found out that, in my case, the volume drop was caused by the tracks not being panned. Once I panned a track, its volume started to increase. Looks like a phase cancelling issue to me. I’ve just contacted elektron support regarding this issue.
