Model Samples Retrig / swing & off beat issues

Hi there,

i just recently got a model samples and its a lot of fun to fiddle around with it but i also have some issues. Maybe im doing something wrong and hopefully somebody can point me to a solution.

  • RETRIG: doesn`t play swing when swing is activated on the selected track; is this a setting issue because this seems really pointless if it wouldnt be able to play in swing.
  • RETRIG: it very often is behind or ahead of the beat, highly depending on the exact timing when you hit the button. Is this a setting i can change or is it really not possible to set retrig to be always in time with the beat. This seems really strange because almost any other gear besides elektron i used with similar function would always be in time with the beat.

Really, can no one answer if swinged retrigger is possible or not? :cry:

  1. Retrig does not respect swing, no. Certain rates (like 1/24) can make this less noticeable
  2. You can p-lock retig per step by holding the step, hitting Retirg, and turing retrig on (top of menu)
